According to the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) of 2009, Kuwait ranked 66 in the world. The number one spot being the less corrupt went to New Zealand, to the last place being the most corrupt went to Somalia. Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and Qatar are all less corrupt than Kuwait is according to this index. To add more good news, Kuwait is becoming more corrupt as the years go by. In 2004, Kuwait was ranked 45. In two years, Kuwait managed to to fall almost 20 ranks.
