Diddy Riese Cookies and Ice Cream
Somewhere in LA there’s a little village called Westwood where a little cookie/ice cream shop is nestled snuggily between a noodle shop and a sandwich grab ‘n go. Diddy Riese is a late night hot spot here in LA where if you’re craving a delicious chewy cookie warm out of the oven at around 11:23pm, you can simply go and wait outside the store at the end of a seemingly long line. The line moves fairly quickly so no worries my fellow impatient friends.
Not only do they have cookies but they also have ice cream and imagine what one can do with cookies and ice cream. What you get when you cross a pair of cookies with a couple scoops of ice cream is a sweet, oh so sweet, ice cream sandwich. You pick what ever flavor ice cream you want and they’ll pack it between two of their chunkiest cookies. Then you have the choice of: a) Gorging the delicious dessert down like a burger from In-n-Out or (b) Use your spoon and nibble on the concoction like them folks who do such things.
If you’re planning to stop by anytime soon make sure you carry cash because they won’t accept your plastic.
