San Pellegrino Limonata/Aranciata

San Pellegrino Sunshine, originally uploaded by ~ Stefan ~.

San Pellegrino is best known for mineral sparkling water, but my favorite variety of their assorted beverages are San Pellegrino Limonata and Aranciata. I first stumbled on the beverages in chic cafés around LA, and I’ve been buying them in bulk ever since. Basically they’re fruit sodas that have a watered-down lemon and orange juice taste, the Aranciata tastes similarly to Orangina. They’re available in most high end cafés across the US and Europe but I’m yet to see them in glass bottles, all the ones I’ve seen in the States were in foil covered cans which is a smart move because it keeps dirt out.

  • That’s my favorite too. :) But I like the other orange flavored one…can’t remember its name. I have always bought them in the US in bottles, never cans. I have had them here in KW too.

faris – you can find them at azzad gourmet in shamiya supermarket. that’s one of the many things i like about italian taste: their mastery of the perfect balance of sweet and sour in drinks.
