As soon as I was done with my last final I hit the stores.
I hit up Melrose Ave. where I walked into shop after shop. Then I hit the Westfield Topanga shopping mall.
I’m looking to change my whole wardrobe. So I decided to go with a vintage urban look. I tried to pick out random printed tees and I managed to snag a few from a few vintage stores and from other random shops.
I needed some sweaters so I hit up Abercrombie and Fitch but I will try to leave the AnF for quick random outings. I don’t like the “generic” trends; if you know what I mean.
Studying, that’s what. I’ve been stuck at home for just under one whole week studying. And I’m still not done.
I just can’t wait for Wednesday to just pass on by.
I have waited for this moment since the current Z4 hit the streets. At midnight “Munich time”, BMW made it official and they unveiled this beauty.
The current Z4 generation is nothing compared to what’s coming in 2010. this BMW has everything from lines to a hard top. The new cuts and details give the car a sexier feel. BMW also gave the Z4 a much needed facelift; the lights were pulled back and they’re looking more like something BMW would make. The overall car is sleeker and I give the people from BMW a double thumbs up.
I want one. Now.
We’ve all heard of the tallest buildings or towers or whatever. But what about the smallest of things out there?
Well it seems that whilst countries are trying their oh-so hardest to build the biggest buildings that man can manage to build in his lifespan the Japanese are doing just the opposite. The technology infested country in the east has a very high demand for land but it doesn’t have the land to offer. So they just manage with what they have. And the result is…the thinnest buildings I have ever seen.

For some reason I forgot to mention that Faris and I went to the LA Autoshow 2008.
I’ve attached pictures of the event but somehow I lost half of them. Hopefully Faris could add some more.

Last night I was one of the lucky few who was invited to the grand opening of a new trendy Euro based boutique in Studio City, CA.
Belle Epoque is a new boutique in Studio City, co-owned by a friend of mine. They have the best in European apparel, which is lacking in the US at the moment. Some of the things they have and some of the designers I’ve barely seen around.
The grand opening was spectacular. A lot of guests came and the place was amazing. Very well designed and very up to date. I guarantee you that once you step in, you can’t step out without a bag in your hand. You’ll love the store.
You might even catch one of the owners there…if you see Yalda tell her I sent you. |more…|
